September of 2009 we will begin offering a new way for tenants to get around Eugene, the WeCar. This car sharing program will give members new options to reduce their travel costs, reduce their impact on the environment and enjoy the many of the conveniences of car ownership without the associated hassles.

The WeCar's home will be a reserved place at the Commons on Alder. Members reserve the car online for as long or as short as they need. The low hourly rate includes gas, and many users will find they save a substantial amount of money by using the WeCar. Members will drive a Toyota Prius which features greater fuel efficiency and lower emissions lessening their impact on the environment.
